A : Club and street why ? A : They wanted to be recognize by the market in a fun way and left certain memory and feel so people can remember them. |
Design process.Making three different moodboard with three different style.
Street art > As I my daily outfit to campus is street wear, I decided to put it in my moodboard, why street art? because it really represents me as I am a wild, brave and free people, so I think this might be a good concept. Nature > The reasons why I choose nature as my second moodboard concept is because I like to travel, since Indonesia has a lot of amazing places to visit, and lots of mountain and beaches to go. The concept also use color that really represents the nature, such as ocean blue and green. Formal > Why formal? people that know me for a long time, they know that I am actually a tidy, clean and hard-worker person, it makes me think that I should put this as one of my moodboard concept. |

Self promotional campaign.Street art is the style that I use to create my self-promotional campaign. I choose street art as my base concept of this whole campaign as its characteristic represents me: Wild, Brave and Free. Through this style, I would like to point out my characteristics and how I perceived the world from my point of view.
I chose the color of blue and grey for this campaign. I believe that blue represents education and intellegence as for grey to be dark, introvert and mysterious. Most likely, people’s first impressions on me were that I was mysterious and introvert, as I am a quiet person. And for people who knew me, knows that I am hard-working, this is why I used blue as my main color in this campaign. This is one of my strategy to represent myself towards the design of this campaign. Next, the graphic elements I used for this design are circles and spray paint swatches. Circles are edgeless, harmless and endless. It shows friendliness within the shape, and how choices in our life should be: endless. Spray paint swatches are part of the street art design style. It represents wildness, and freedom in a single line. When people did street arts, they are starting with a line of bravery, without sketches or base but only bravery and wilderness within themselves to keep going on. This is the kind of spirit that I want to show people and encourage them to embrace within themselves. For this campaign’s typeface, I used script font as my main typeface choice. Scripts fonts symbolises freedom, just as street art. Its strokes are not structured on fix points but it just went with the beautiful flow. Its strokes also represent casual, yet trendy at the same time. This type of typeface are suitable for young and brave people. In conclusion, these elements within the campaign are connecting to one and another, and in the end connects through me. When these all design concepts come into visual, it shows the characteristics of me through colors, elements, typography and style. |

Portfolio design.My name is Yoga Oktavian I was born in march 7th 1999 in Jakarta. My parents are come from two different country, my dad is a taiwanese and work as a civil contractor in Indonesia, and my mom use to be his assitant but now is a house wife. I am able to speake more than three different languages which are Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Sundanese and English. I am taking graphic design as my major of university now, and trying to get work experience outside the campus. I tried to work at my dad’s company as a construction inspector, what I am doing are documenting the work perfomence, and mainting the record of the building process. Besides that I also had an experience on handling a company’s design project to support their marketing. My personal design style is more like street art, which is wild, brave and free. However my personality is quite, humble, hardworking and high curiousity. What I interested is everything that related to engine, technology and engineering.
